Rap Jam (SNES)

How I'd sum this game up:  For people who like NBA Jam and Hip Hop music, but not good video games.

Rap Jam... Take rappers like Coolio, LL Cool J, and Flava Flav and have them play pick up basketball.  That was a cool idea to me as a kid since I was big on the music and sport.  It seems, however, that the spent more time on getting the rappers themselves than either the music or the sport.  The game play is modeled after NBA Jam, only less responsive and much more dull.  The cool dunks and quick gameplay that make NBA Jam popular are nonexistent.  And the music?  I would expect some midi's of popular music playing during the pickup games, but it's just ambiance.  NO music.  In a game called Rap Jam.
