Essentially, I like games. Classic, retro, whatever you want to call
it. So I'm going to replay all the games I can, and as I go, rank them
to see who the best really is. Off the top of my head, I can remember a
few games that just blew my mind. Have they stood the test of time?
Or maybe I was just a lame kid. I won't know until I replay them. This
will be constantly updated, so always check back in.
I will not rank a game until I replay it.
So
if you see my number three game is Duck Tales and I haven't even listed
Mario 3, don't flip out. I probably haven't replayed Mario 3 yet, so
it isn't ranked.
This is not scientific.
If
I have fun with a game for no apparent reason, I'm going to rank it
high. If there is a really well made game that make me want to sit on a
cactus I'm not going to rank as high. Check out my reviews though,
I'll explain my rankings there.
FAQ
Q: What order do you play games to rank games in?
A: Random, mainly.
Q: Can I request you to rank a game?
A: Yes, email me at juice.box@gmx.com
Q: Can I complain about a ranking?
A: Yes, email me at juice.box@gmx.com, but I'd prefer you to challenge my ranking instead of complaining.
Q: What do you mean challenge?
A: Example: Right now I have Bubble Bobble ranked below Snow Bros. You could choose to email me in two ways: "Snow Bros sucks!" to which I would say "No. I like Snow Bros." Or you can say "I like Bubble Bobble better than Snow Bros, I think you should re-rank them." At that time I may go back and replay both games back to back and see if maybe I did screw up.
Q: What is the Abadox Quagmire?
A: An immediate death sentence for a game. As described in the review for Abadox, it is the thing that irritates me most about games.
Essentially, it is when a game fails to give you any checkpoint, or regeneration when you die, and you die after one hit. It is a game that tries to make itself more difficult by making it easy to die, and making you start the entire level over again once you do.
