This game was the answer to the prayers of fan boys of the original. Responsive controls, faster, better graphics, more characters, you name it, it fixed it. I can remember playing this game for hours with a group of people. Since it was two players, winner would stay and we'd cycle through people waiting. We did this all the time.
As far as I'm concerned, there are only 3 characters worth playing as - Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub Zero. Baraka was cool but I sucked as him.
