Abadox (NES)

How I would sum this game up:  Unoriginal and executed worse than the games it was trying to clone.

The first thing that hit me was "Milton Bradley presents?  There is hope!"  As game play started, I was reminded of a quote from Bane in Dark Knight Rises:  " I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope."

If a game wants piss me off do a chain of two things:

1.  Hit once, you are dead.  Contra, Raiden, and many other games do this, and it is fine, because they don't fall into the second rule.

2.  Once you die, you go to the beginning of the level.  No regeneration, no check points.

From now on, this will be known as the "Abadox Quagmire."
